About this website

The name of this website "Challenging Faith" has double meaning. First, it reflects how I see faith. Faith can be challenging sometimes. From time to time, we face challenges of faith when life gets hard, when things don't work out, and when what we believe contradicts our best interest.

Second, it means to challenge faith – to see if what we believe is true. In Acts 17:11, Luke comments that "the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians", not because they believed immediately in what Paul taught them, but "for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true." It is to challenge to see if our faith could sustain us in life. It is also to challenge our faithfulness to see if we could remain faithful through trials and hardship.

With this website, you are invited to take on this journey of life in the Truth with me as I learn about faith from life, and as I wrestle in life with what I believe. As my faith grows, I hope that you'll grow with me.
